100 Day Plan New Government: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked his ministries to prepare a 100 day plan for the new government. It is reported that the ministries have considered many important initiatives. For example, Indian Railways is working on a refund scheme within 24 hours for passengers who cancel their tickets.

Right now it takes at least three days. Apart from this, there is also a plan to launch a 'super app' for many facilities like ticket booking and train tracking. A scheme for interest subvention on home loan (Home Loan Interest Subsidy) can be brought by the Housing Ministry for the urban poor.

According to a TOI report, all ministries and departments have prepared their plans and the Cabinet Secretary is reviewing them. PM Modi had announced on August 15 regarding the housing loan waiver scheme. Whatever new projects and schemes are being planned for the first three months of the new government.

According to the report, Railways has planned to start PM Rail Yatri Bima Yojana for passengers. Apart from this, cabinet approval is awaited for three economic corridors 40,900 km long. Rs 11 lakh crore will be spent in this. After the completion of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project, Railways is moving ahead with the plan to run trains from Jammu to Kashmir.

Officials have said that India's first vertical lift bridge New Pamban Railway Bridge will also become operational. This bridge connects the mainland of the country to Rameshwaram.

If sources are to be believed, Railways' focus is also on starting sleeper version of Vande Bharat trains. Bullet train project is being accelerated. However, under the plan, about 320 km stretch of 508 km Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet train will be operational by April 2029.

Apart from this, talking about road transport, the Highway Ministry has planned to start a cashless scheme for the victims of road accidents. The Civil Aviation Ministry has planned to inaugurate four airports in the first three months of the new government.
