The state government issued the formal orders through Anurag Rastogi, the Additional Chief Secretary (Finance).

For employees and pensioners under the Fifth Pay Commission, the DA has been enhanced by 12%, increasing the rate from 443% to 455%. This significant boost aims to align compensation with inflationary trends, ensuring a stable purchasing power for retired and active state employees.
Effective Date and Payment Details
- The increased DA will be included in the November 2024 salaries and pensions.
- Arrears for four months (July to October 2024) will be paid along with the January 2025 salary and pension.
These adjustments are expected to bring additional financial relief to over 1.5 lakh employees and pensioners in the state.
