Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana 2024:The time of harvesting of Rabi crops is going on. Farmers will start harvesting wheat in the month of April. This time, farmers are harvesting wheat late in the hope of higher yield . In such a situation, keeping in mind the needs of the farmers, the government is giving subsidy on harvesting machines. Reaper Machine is also included in these machines to which farmers are being provided the benefit of subsidy. The special thing is that up to 60 percent subsidy is being given to the farmers on the purchase of this machine. Farmers can buy this reaper machine used in wheat harvesting by spending only 40 percent of the money. For this, applications have been invited from the farmers of the state. Interested farmers can avail the benefit of subsidy on the purchase of reaper machine by applying under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme being run as Agricultural Equipment Grant Scheme.

How much subsidy will be given on reaper machine?

On the purchase of tractor driven reaper machine by the state government, farmers will be given a maximum subsidy of 60 percent on the cost price of the machine. This subsidy will be given to farmers category wise. In this, general farmers will be given 50 percent subsidy or a maximum subsidy of Rs 25,000. Whereas farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Extremely Backward Classes will be given a grant of 60 percent or a maximum of Rs 30,000.

What will be the benefit of buying reaper machine?

With reaper machines, farmers can harvest more crops in less time. This machine is operated with the help of a tractor. It can be mounted on the front or side of the tractor and driven. This machine can harvest one acre of crop in about 45 minutes with one liter diesel. In such a situation, farmers can harvest wheat at very low cost. By using this machine, farmers can easily harvest wheat with less time, labor and expense. Along with harvesting, the work of making bundles of the crop can also be done easily with the Reaper cum Binder machine. In such a situation, this machine is considered a very good machine for wheat harvesting.

What documents will be required to apply for reaper machine-

Farmers will need some documents while applying for Tractor Driven Reaper Machine. To apply for agricultural implements/machines, farmers need to have Aadhaar card, income certificate, residence certificate, caste certificate, bank account details, copy of passbook, registered mobile number which is linked to Aadhaar, PAN card, farm land etc. Documents etc. will be required. In such a situation, farmers should keep these important documents with them while applying.

How to apply for purchase of reaper machine-

If you are a Bihar farmer then you can apply for a reaper machine under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme . For this, it will be necessary for the farmers to register on the DBT Portal of the Agriculture Department, Bihar before applying on the agricultural mechanization software OFMAS. Applications will not be accepted in OFMAS without registration number. After registration on DBT portal, farmers will have to apply on the website of Agriculture Department (www.farmech.bih.nic.in). To purchase agricultural equipment at subsidized rates, interested progressive farmers, livelihood groups, village organizations and cluster federations of Bihar state can apply online from anywhere at their convenience.

Under the scheme, for all types of agricultural equipment, farmers will be able to purchase the agricultural equipment from the concerned seller by deducting the grant amount from the price of the equipment and paying the remaining amount and the grant amount will be transferred to the account of the concerned agricultural equipment manufacturer. For specific information regarding online application, farmers can contact their Block Agriculture Officer/Assistant Director (Agricultural Engineering) or District Agriculture Officer.
